Its nuanced visual language focuses on human connection, culminating in a visceral flashback sequence that takes the phrase "Ball is Life" to a whole new level, both visually and emotionally.
Director Nathan Xia was inspired by a personal moment of emotional vulnerability during a pickup game, and that vision inspired key contributors like Jeremy Lin to take notice.
